Edgar Barrera has been chosen for a scholarship with the Mexico Cultural Program, sponsored by the Pan American Student Forum (PASF) He is one of ten students traveling to Mexico City where he will be spending the week participating in various cultural activities.

He will leave Friday, November 21, and fly to Mexico City for an exciting week. The activities will include visiting art museums, Museum of Anthropology, Chapultepec Park, Ballet Folklorico, Xochimilco, Basilica de Guadalupe, and the pyramids at Teotihuacan.

PASF sponsor and Spanish teacher Jan Peterson said she is very proud of his effort and determination to pursue this scholarship.

“I’m very proud of Edgar because I know he has worked hard to achieve his success,” Peterson said. “This will be a trip he will remember all his life.”
