SAT testing slated for Nov. 7

Seniors who are planning on attending a college or university who haven’t taken the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) should plan on registering for the next available testing date scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7 at Lufkin High School.

Anyone taking the SAT on this date should arrive at the school no later than 7:45 a.m. to register for the test.

Students should bring at least two #2 pencils, a graphing calculator, a form of ID, and registration form.

For seniors, taking the SAT is a vital part of the next step in their future, college or university. For many colleges/universities, the acceptance of a future student weighs heavily upon their SAT scores.
