Lady Pack Continues Winning Streak

The Lady Pack continued to exhibit dominance on the softball field with their 10-1 win over Conroe.
The win comes as the fourth straight for the Lady Pack in district play, and appears to be a glimpse of an even larger streak due to the large margin of victory and the explosive offense of the Lady Pack.
Lufkin faced Conroe earlier in the season and took home a 1-0 loss at home.
The ace on the mound, junior Starla Deponte, secured the win and pitched a complete game. She held the Conroe offense to a solitary run and managed to spread out seven hits for the game. She also put five strikeouts on the stat card during the game.
The Lady Pack will hope to continue the winning streak at 6 p.m today against College Park at Frank Morris.
