Soccer Banquet Set for Thursday

When everyone gives their best and achieves the most possible things they can do, there is always a good reward and celebration behind it. The Lufkin Soccer Team had a good season this year finishing fourth in district and qualifying for playoffs. After the teams hard work and effort, the fun time and celebration for them will be their Banquet Thursday Apr. 16 at 6:00p.m.at the First Christian Church .

This event is a chance for the players, their family, and the coaches to get together and have a nice dinner, Joe’s Italian Grill, to enjoy their time together as a team. The tickets for the banquet are free for the players and $10 for every other individual tickets, but only players can buy before Apr. 8. At the Banquet the coaches will recognize all the players and give out rewards to those who well deserve it and have worked hard to earn it. After the dinner they will play a video including clips from the games and will be on sale at the end of the banquet.
