Tori Alverson Commits to TJC

Tori Alverson has committed to playing soccer for Tyler Junior College. She had offers and interest from various colleges like Lon Morris, East Texas Baptist University and SFA but denied them to go to TJC.

“I choose TJC because I liked the coaches at the school as well as some of the players,” Alverson said. “also the campus was little but big enough in my eyes, and plus the scholarship that was giving to me.”

Just last year, she was thinking about not even playing soccer in college but was conviced by her coaches.

“My coaches from school as well as the coaches from my club team told me I was good enough to play on the college level,” she said.
